“Jelly Drip” is the first painting I started when I decided to get back into exploring art after a long hiatus. I had no real direction on where I wanted to take this piece from the start except the idea of a jellyfish. There is something about the organic and fluid feeling of painting jellyfish and octopuses that I really enjoy and this took on a life of its own during this process. This is also the painting that started the drip style I’ve incorporated across several pieces now.
